If you’re anything like me, you have experienced some incredible challenges as you have progressed along on your path.
Growing up isn’t easy, even when you have the perfect loving family environment. But many people do not grow up with the ‘Beaver Cleaver” family unit supporting and loving their every decision and desire.
It is during our childhood years that we adopt so many of our behaviors and…addictions. We learn to cope with stress and hardship by turning to ‘vices’ that numb the pain and distract our conscious awareness from the present moment. And during those early years, with little guidance or mentorship, many of us are left to raise ourselves.
I speak from personal experience here, yet perhaps you can relate to some of this?
I’m not asking for a show of hands!
But just think back to your own childhood and how each moment and experience has shaped how you turned out today. We see it showing up in our relationships, in our ability to create success in our lives. We see it in our communication and recurring patterns of lack, lust and laziness.
So, we can go on like this for the rest of our lives…that is a choice, and popular one at that. Many times people use the excuse that they weren’t handed a silver spoon at birth, so they are destined to live a mediocre existence and are willing to accept this ‘FACT’ with ‘Quiet Desperation,’ as Thoreau has been quoted to say.
My own path and transformation through the practice of yoga and conscious lifestyle is a perfect example of ‘what is possible’.
This was the catalyst and inspiration behind my first published book, Journey to Joyful, which I am committed to elevating to the New York Times Best Sellers list. Everyone who reads it responds with rave reviews. (you can peek inside here)
In Journey to Joyful, you will find a detailed and entertaining account of my personal story, as well as stories of clients and students who have experienced life transformation through the path and practice of yoga. In addition to that, I interweave the scientific, psychological, metaphysical and spiritual aspects of my path in an ‘East meets West’ format that everyone can relate to.
Journey to Joyful is just one component to a holistic life transformation program that I created to help others experience the healing, empowering and inspiring path I have been blessed to create. The other components of the “Transform Your Life with Yoga” program include my full length DVD “Transform Your Life with Yoga for Beginners”, the Daily Health Journal and the 3 Stage Total Transformation Diet program.
If you or anyone you know, is truly seeking answers, seeking a holistic lifestyle path that can bring you from depression to delight, from being overweight to radiant health, from injury to athleticism, and from chaotic mind-chatter stress to peace and calm within‚this may be the answer you are seeking.
