Blair Witch Oil Spill.

Via on May 17, 2010

With props to The Daily Green’s compilation of accessible, interesting Oil Spill images and videos, here’s a true-life horror movie.

The ongoing oil crisis in the Gulf of Mexico reminds us that offshore drilling is dangerous and dirty. It harms wildlife, ecosystems and the economy. Tell the government NO to offshore drilling. Sign the petition at www.StopTheDrill.org.

Earlier this year, the government opened thousands of miles of American coastline to oil and gas exploration. Don’t let dirty, dangerous oil drilling happen on your watch! Learn more at StopTheDrill.org and Oceana.org.

I want to see more things like this in the mainstream…like prime time tv. I don't watch often, but I don't see PSAs with such grit…are they being censored, or am I just missing them? People like their blinders because they don't want to be reminded that they could be doing things a better way, if it only weren't so damned "inconvenient". Convenience is what got us into this mess.
