Jon Stewart: BP gives scapegoat Tony Hayward $17.5 million severance.

“I understand that people find it easier to vilify an individual more than a company.”  ~Tony Hayward.

I don’t for a minute blame Tony Hayward. I blame BP, which among all oil companies has been reponsible for 97% of accidents over the past few years. I blame lax regulations thanks to our Republican Congressman.

As Frank Sinatra would put it, this situation is too marvelous douchey for words. Video:
