    Tish K. Park It's not gone. It's still there. BP just made it disperse. In addition, they "toxified" the water by adding dispersents :/ and they are still trying to make sure it doesn't leak again. In that process, another leak(s) appeared, if my understanding of the situation is correct.

    Besides, I think elephantjournal is trying to get us to think about our behavior, because currently and in the future, there is still a lot of destruction of our planet, going on and that could go on in the future, if we don't change our behavior.

    Karen Wagner Yes ….and will never be "Gone" for a long time I love how people just think toxins just disappear ….like plastic. Now is the time to take regard of food (GMOS) the Eco-system and our fresh waters. Its sad that this big cos.are allowed to get away …with murder!!
