The hottest / coolest couple on / for Planet Earth talks about the Gulf.

Via on Aug 4, 2010

A Green Couple goes to the Gulf.

Moving images. A sense that all this is past, old news, over—and yet it’s not. It’s far from over. And our Congress just decided not only to scrap any Climate Bill, but the soft narrow legislation aimed at preventing this from ever happening again.

Via NRDC: “Ocean-loving married couple Gabrielle Reece and surfer Laird Hamilton recently toured the oil infested waters of the Gulf Coast with NRDC staff members. On a boat near Grand Isle, Louisiana, Reece and Hamilton witnessed firsthand the destruction the BP oil spill has inflicted on the natural world. They reflect about their love for the marine environment and why it’s important to protect it.”

What have we learned from the Oil Spill? That we’ll be driving today. And tomorrow.

  1. Hot and Beautiful, Yes. Green?? No.

  2. Not Green says:

Yep, they are not very green if you factor in all the airline miles they put in to promote their "brand" which is them. Also, the images you are using are copyright protected. Wonder how any potential viewers/investors in elephant feels about that?
