20 Posters that show that Tea Party graphic designers have way too much time on their hands; way too little historical perspective.

Via on Nov 13, 2010

Tea Party graphic designers long on time, short on historical perspective.

President Obama is just the same as mass murderering dictators like Stalin, Hitler, Mao? Gimme a break.

True patriotism isn’t about hate.

Of course, overly bored liberals did the same thing to Dubya, villifying a man who, whatever his mistakes or our opinions, is a fundamentally decent person.

The thing to do for both sides is to stop viewing “the other side” as the other side. Patriotism isn’t a football game. It’s a leaky but lovely rowboat—a boat we’re all in together.

Here’s 10 (or so) posters that are, as Jon Stewart said recently, insults to real Fascists and Dictators who put all kinds of time and energy into hating properly and fully.

Bonus points: find the “toubling” typo in one of ‘em.

Sorry, don't agree about GW Bush being "oh, just another decent guy with a different point of view!" Can't we all just get along! Pardon me if I don't sit down with the Republican party and sing Kumbaya.

These people started a war based on lies which resulted in the deaths of untold number of people. They also work tirelessly against equality for gay and lesbian people and families, with really damaging consequences. Comparing "the left's" vilification of extreme conservatives to the lunacy of insinuating that Obama is actually a Communist or a Nazi is ridiculous.

Yes, it would be nice if we could "get along" with people of differing political views, but the limits of my "respect" reach their end when it comes to doing actual harm to people. Those who compare taxation to genocide need to seek psychiatric help.

elephantjournal.com Joe, it's possible to vehemently disagree with someone's policies and actions without vilifying 'em, ain't it? That's all.

Generally, I agree with your point. The hysteria is out of bounds, these days, and all mistakes aren't created equal.
