Spirituality and Creativity.

Meditation is such a pervasive movement that its effects take innumerable forms. Beyond the habitual responses and preconceived assumptions of the conscious mind rests a pure intelligence. Meditation enables us to move beyond the compulsive dynamics of consciousness in order to both, discover and be a spontaneous expression of this intelligence.

In this wonderful video Elizabeth Gilbert describes, from a writer’s point of view, the movement from mundane consciousness to “genius.” Enjoy!

Elephant 365 is an example of Elephant Journal’s commitment to the Mindful Life.
