{Boulder Event}: Live @ The Laughing Goat

Via on Apr 6, 2011

On Friday, April 8, 2011, the new-to-Boulder band “Dreams are for Rookies” will be playing at The Laughing Goat. Recently transplanted from Kansas City, MO, “Dreams” is already enamored of Boulder, and our great music scene.

These sweet, earnest, Midwestern boys have found a formula that works for them; Adam’s voice has a power and smoothness that you don’t often hear from male vocalists. Having been friends for years, he and Tyler harmonize well together, and classically trained Steven adds beautiful cello to the mix.

“Dreams” obliged to perform on the spot for Elephant. Here’s a video of them playing “The Cutest Freakin’ Song Ever,” which they promised would be part of Friday’s set.
