elephantjournal.com Google Analytics Monthly Unique Visitors Traffic Update.
Guess you could say we’re arcing up.

Boring Publisher’s Note:
If someone says they’re getting 200,000 clicks a month or 1.5 million hits a month, make sure they add “according to xxxx” at the end of that sentence. We’re now at 386,000 unique visitors per month according to Google Analytics—a conservative and accurate number. Google Analytics is embeddable in one’s site, so it knows what’s going on. Other sites, like Compete, have to triangulate various guesses (Compete is, however, useful for comparing various sites, since I assume it’s equally off for all sites). ~ ed.

I do agree that Google Analytics is accurate. So congratulations. The problem with Compete (and Alexa) is that its a self-selecting universe. Whoever downloads their tool bar (usually techhies from SF) reflect what the results will be. Probably Elephant Journal isn't best served by the high tech entrepreneur crowd in Silicon Valley.
Good news! congrats!
