In Buddhism, in the Bodhisattva vow, we vow to put allll sentient beings before ourselves. Not just the ones we can talk with, or regard ourselves as equal to. So it’s helpful and inspiring when we’re reminded that animals have feelings, and are caring beings, too.

    How wonderful that this happened. How hideous that this magnificent creature is in captivity. I know zoos play a part in the conservation of species, but I loathe them.

    YAY!! i LOVE animals! i agree with ^^^ poster–i really dislike zoos, and i dislike people who take videos of animals drowning that videographer woman bugs me– Where is the actual video?? hidden away in a safe with the rest of the JFK stuff?
