Most of us remember our first taste of freedom as we scooted away from home on our shiny new Big Wheel. I’ll never forget the sound of hard plastic grinding on pavement, wind in my face and a smile the size of Tejas.
This past Saturday in Boulder, about 75 full grown kids took to the streets of Boulder for the Big Wheel Rally. We raced around parking lots, we whooped and hollered, we raised money for St. Judes Hospital and we had the time of our lives.
It was fun then, it’s still fun 30 years later, there’s nothing better than being a kid again.
