Dr. Seuss defines “love.”

Via on Aug 13, 2011

QotD.

We are all a little weird
and life’s a little weird,
and when we find someone
whose weirdness is compatible with ours,
we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness
and call it

love.

~ Dr. Seuss

PS:

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”

And, letting go is a part of love.

“I’m glad we had the times together just to laugh and sing a song, seems like we just got started and then before you know it, the times we had together were gone.”

And, a smile:

“Cause when a guy does something stupid once, well that’s because he’s a guy. But if he does the same stupid thing twice, that’s usually to impress some girl.”

Bonus.

*Editor’s Update: the first quote is misattributed to Dr. Seuss: Robert Fulghum said it.

Waylon, I just love this. I am in mutual weirdness with Dr. Suess. I particularly like how when he didn't have the right word for a rhyme or reason he just made one up. I used his style to teach hard core Anusara alignment, and even read this poem I wrote while my students held plank.
