LADmatters Film Festival Comes to Boulder!

The Life And Death Matters festival is one of the most unique, inspirational, life-changing events you will ever experience.

Our 30 international films include some straight from Sundance; Connected (an autobiography of life, death and technology) and our opening gala film, Undertow (a stunningly shot LGBTQ film described as a Peruvian Brokeback Mountain).

LADmatters is an exploration of the journey through life not only through film but with Educational Programing as well. Our movies range from the poignant and touching Fly Away a feature-length narrative about raising a child with autism (filmmaker attending), to the lust for longevity, light-heartedly examined in the documentary How to Live Forever (filmmaker attending). Join Temple Grandin on Sat Sept 3rd at 9:00 am for tea, a book signing and discussions on autism, and don’t
miss our filmmaker panel including, Will Arntz, director of What The Bleep Do We Know?! (bringing his new film Ghetto Physics). Find out what it might be like to date and break up with God during our theatrical evening of nine original plays.

LADmatters surges into life Thursday, September 1 at 7:30PM with a red carpet reception, music from soul legend, Hazel Miller, and our headlining film Undertow.  Follow LADmatters through to Sunday September 4 and our Closing Gala with foot-stomping African music, LADmatters’ Awards, and Rep. Jared Polis.
