…still, it hurts.
Still, eventually, we grow up and realized that’s more than he could ever say. That having a son don’t make you a Father. That we’ll get it right. That we might mess up and have some issues and immaturities but if we’re lucky we have the best mom ever and a whole bunch of father figures and, most importantly, his failure makes us determined to get it right ourselves, and reverent and appreciative of a healthy family.
We’ll be there.
