The Grand Curmudgeon, like Steve Jobs just a month before, worked right up to the end, retiring only just before passing on. To some of us, who love what we do, work isn’t work, it’s duty, it’s play—our work is our life, and we do it until we have none left. Farewell, Mr. Rooney. ~ ed.
