A dedicated yoga practitioner himself, Sturman's work has increasingly focused on capturing the timeless grace and embodied mindfulness of asana. His portraits, whether set in the lively streets of Manhattan, the expansiveness of Malibu's beaches and canyons, the timeless elegance of Walden's New England, or the bleakness of San Quentin Prison, remind us that there is beauty everywhere. In Sturman's own words "I often think of Rumi: 'I can't stop pointing to the beauty.' That feels right to me." ...... Excerpt from Dearbhla Kelly's article: Intoxicated With Beauty—Portrait of an Artist's Soul.

Beautiful work Robert. Love it.
Quick!! Let's objectify her!!!
Just kiddin'
Little tired of all the trilling on about the Equinox vid. These are beautiful Robert….beautiful…..
That made me laugh. I think it's an easier fight to not pay too much attention (that's what I concluded.) It seems more practical (at least for myself) to use my time enjoying, being enchanted, and celebrating what I love by making Art of it, rather than engaging in the irrational argument occurring on internet. In the end, if it was Art, it will be cherished and remembered. The arguments will fade away and the Art will go on living.
Absolutely beautiful setting, subject and photography!
gorgeous gravity defying body celebrating images – great work!
Beauty.
What a FABULOUS yogini and celebrated by such a talented artist – its a melding of two great energies and the result is as you suggest, Robert, something to cherish and remember! Thanks!!!
Gorgeous.
Beautiful!
..pretty,but seriously, think of some kidney loop action, when you are inverted…save your back for the next 5 decades.
