Welcome To 2012: The Year Of Manifestation

Hello Friends!

Where Is My Guru‘s first show of 2012 was so amazing we can hardly contain our excitement in sharing it’s good fortune with you. We welcomed two amazing guests to the show, successfully kicking off the new year both mindfully and informatively.

This year Where Is My Guru will be hosting a series of “Extraordinary Interviews” from Kripalu, the Institute of Extraordinary Living. To help us start this series off we were honored to have Vandita Kate Marchesiello, senior teacher and Director of Kripalu’s Teaching for Diversity program, on the show.  The program, providing  grants and scholarships to members of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association (KYTA) and the International Association of Black Yoga Teachers (IABYT), allows proper training and guidance  for teachers to instruct classes in disadvantaged schools or to diverse populations. You can read more about their impressive list of past grant recipients here.

We also welcomed come-back guest Abi White, an England based life coach. Last time as our first guest of the year Abi coined 2011 as “The Year of Infinite Abundance.” This year, Abi says, is “The Year Of Manifestation”. Her words of wisdom and encouragement left us with goosebumps and left us feeling highly motivated.

Abi White: “The important things are being personally responsible, taking control, finding peace in every moment in every day, accepting that the things that are happening are exactly the things that should be happening and trusting that in the moment. When you start to shift from infinite abundance into infinite manifestation you really do want to see the acorn growing into an oak tree. Infinite manifestation has to come through belief and education. That education is self education, personal responsibility and acceptance of who you are. No more beating ourselves up. It’s got to stop. It’s time for change. It’s 2012, apparently the end of the world. Lets really start to focus on if it were the end of the world, what would I spend my time doing?”
