10 steps to everlasting fairy tale love:
1. Start out “Once upon a Time” or in a picturesque setting.
2. Meet cute.
3.Overcome great obstacles like evil stepmothers, ogres or a fire swamp.
4. Kiss a lot.
5. Be irrepressibly cheerful and attract woodland creatures to help with daily tasks.
6. Bake something. (Singing helps too.)
7. Have a fairy godmother.
8. Actually, the more fairy guardians you have, the better!
9. Perfect breasts are a good idea too.
10. If all else fails, hire a miracle maker.
{But step #11 is the most important}
Fall in love with the whole world.
Fall in love with the present moment.
Stay broken.
Die over and over every moment.
and perhaps most importantly for your happily ever after:
“If you want to be happy, think first of others. If you want to be unhappy, think only of yourself.”
Fairy tales are fun to watch snuggled up on the couch with some popcorn, but a well-lived life dedicated to being of benefit?
That is the best adventure of all.

Great obstacles like…witches? This witch is not impressed nor amused. Enough of the use of that word in a negative way!!!!! Geeze!
You know what, I almost didn't include that word for that very reason! Will change it right now. The fake Hollywood/Disney "witches" are obstacles in fairy tales, but that doesn't mean we need to perpetuate the idea. Thanks for your thoughts.
