This is the first of 108 tips to Livin’ the Moment. Let’s take back our lives one beautiful, funny, and delicious moment at a time.

#1 of 108: Break Up an Electric Orgy

It’s the orgy of our time.

Groups of people, usually kids, getting off on electric stimulation with no sense that other human beings are in their proximity.

According to Philip Zimbardo and Nikita Duncan in CNN.com:

A whole generation of male slackers are failing to find jobs, get out of their parents’ houses, and even land steady girlfriends. We think we know why. Technology Enchantment.

Their addicted brains are being rewired “in a totally new way that demands constant stimulation.” As a direct consequence, they find school, jobs and long-term relationships to be painfully boring.

Can you relate? Does this profile resemble you or someone you know?

If you want to do your little part to make the world a better place, next time you’re in the midst of an Electric Orgy…

…scream, sing, breathe, dance

…do something to break it up!

We can do better than this.
