All about Trees.

Trees support Human Life. [Infographic]

One Big Tree = Oxygen for Four Humans.

I love trees. Protip: don’t lock your bike to ‘em. Don’t slackline on ‘em without cushioning the tree.

“The net cooling effect of a young, healthy tree is equivalent to 10 room-size air conditioners operating 20 hours a day.” -U.S. Department of Agriculture

“Trees properly placed around buildings can reduce air conditioning needs by 30 percent and can save 20% to 50% in energy used for heating.” – U.S. Forest Service

The drought has been disastrous for my woods…..many solid hardwood, oaks esp. have been stricken….this after the looper worms weakened them this spring with defoliation….pray for rain

  2. The infographic states the truth. I am blessed to live in a village surrounded by trees as we are in the vicinity of a tree park. The wind blows lovely during the summer months. We benefit from it during the afternoon.
