Who doesn’t love a good cover song?
Today’s yoga playlist, Cover Me (with Yoga), is a collection of exceptional, unexpected or just plain unusual cover songs from a vast array of artists.
Thematically, it’s meant to serve as a reminder that although we often get accustomed to things as we think we know them, it is sometimes enlightening to see these things—or in this case hear them—from a different perspective. I mean really, when Red House Painters make Kiss sound emo and Marilyn Manson turns a Carly Simon tune into gothic dance rock (great for the abs section of the class), it’s easy to appreciate how rich the world is when seen or heard from a new point of view.
