I organize a Vegan Crab Night & all the proceeds are going to that thing that happened in the Middle East or Africa: New Age Fun.

Being a Dickhead’s Cool.

Here’s the latest (well, not latest, I saw this awhile back, before it was cool, but was too busy hipstering about to blog it up) funny pretentious and therefore hypocritically too-cool-for-school super-hipster example of insulting loser hipsters.

Remember, this is what hipsters actually are, or aren’t, or whatever.

Pretty sure an alcoholic has hacked your site, Waylon. What is this garbage you've been posting lately?

Well, if you follow the links, the roots of "hipster" are—to me at least—not only interesting but important. I'm a big Kerouac fan. The hipster movement, however, goes back well before the Beat Gen—before the "Bohemians"—it's a movement, perhaps, that values "slow"—whether foodie-ism, reusing and upcycling and DIYing and sourcing and aficianado-ing—a number of things key to the path that is the mindful life.

Among those things is not rude, vague, un-intelligent, anonymous trolling comments. If you have a criticism, do criticism the honor of being respectful, open, and thorough. ~ Waylon
