Mahatma Gandhi’s 143rd birthday was October 2nd.
He is among the plethora of inspirational, riveting, game-changing and influential people in the world. Individuals like Gandhi serve and strive forward even after they’re gone because their belief structures and actions are remembered and carried through in the world by others.
Times are always difficult.
More people struggle in their every day lives than imagined and dishonesty prevails more often than not.
Ideals, at the end of the day, are usable only in an idealistic world, where people behave in synchronicity and predetermined fashions.
That world does not exist and yet, inspirational people like Gandhi and others still strove to find a place for peace and responsibility.
They attempted to bring light to the importance of actions and thoughts and the connection that exists between all living beings and their animate/inanimate surroundings.
If we take the time, even if it’s not often but every once in a while, to remember the concepts and lessons exemplified by these men and women, then these moments are not only well spent but unbelievably powerful.
Be the change you want to see…
