Raising human consciousness has become a far more important concern than ever before.

With thanks for our sponsor, Isha Foundation.

For the first time, individual human beings have become so phenomenally powerful—empowered by technology. If now human consciousness does not rise, the world will go towards destruction. Right now, the way we are constructing the economic module is about more, more and more. According to living earths statistics, if we provide seven billion people on this planet with the same level of life and comfort, material comfort, as an average American citizen has, we need four and a half planets. But we have only one. So if we succeed, we will fail. Yes? If we fail, we will be depressed. Better you’re depressed than we being dammed. So right now, this is the most important and crucial time where human consciousness has to rise. Because of our ready capability, we will be too destructive. Hundreds of years ago, thousands of years ago, what could a man do with his two hands? Today, what 10,000 man can do, one man can do. Yes? What 10,000 men can do or could not do a thousand years ago, one man can do today. When such an empowerment has come, raising human consciousness becomes absolutely vital. If that doesn’t happen we definitely are heading for destruction. ~ Sadhguru
