My husband has the usual morning routine: newspaper, coffee and 30 minutes on the stinker.
Or at least that’s what I call it after he’s been in there. Although he’s only been in there for less than an hour, it feels like hours later before I want to venture in. Sound familiar?
You’ve probably played with ideas that will help your bathroom smell like a “Spring Breeze” or a “Berry Blossom.” And although those names may be delightful to you, these deceptive descriptions are often seemingly innocent names for commercial air fresheners that have extremely harmful effects to anyone that is actually exposed to them.
Instead of freshening your bathroom with artificial fragrances that contain toxic chemicals, try freshening your bathroom naturally with essential oils using this easy tip.
All you need is a roll of toilet paper and your favorite essential oil or blend.
Some of my favorites are Citrus and Wild Orange.
Citrus Blend smells amazing and bonus—it’s a relaxing blend that has powerful antioxidant protection and supports your immune system.
Wild orange is one of the strongest essential oils when used aromatically and works amazing in a diffuser. Diffusing this oil or using it aromatically has the added benefit of killing bacteria, fungi, viruses and pathogens.
There are so many different oils with so many different scents, you’ll want to have a party in your bathroom!
When you take out a new roll of toilet paper, add 2-3 drops of essential oil to the cardboard middle. It will then automatically freshen your bathroom every time it is used.
