Gary Busey to Launch “Hot Hobbit Yoga”—Stirring up yet Another Hot Yoga Legal Mess. {April Fools’ edition}

“Sometimes you have to run naked backwards through a cornfield at night to figure out who you are.” ~ Gary Busey on finding yourself

Gary Busey, in yet another head scratching, noggin’ swirling ‘wtf’ moment—announced yesterday that he will be stepping boldly into the yoga arena to launch his own brand of yoga.

This brand new, transformative yoga practice is intended to draw upon Hobbit mysticism while still very much engaging your own  ‘middle earth.’

Mr. Busey also promises to capitalize on the spirituality of his existing “Hobbitism,” while yet still being indifferent to everyone’s individual ‘apparatuses.’ When asked his attraction to Hobbits, Mr. Busey replied,

“Hobbits are special. They can see and hear things we can’t. Because, Middle Earth…has a different kind of electronic, spiritual, physical, and emotional energy going through it. So, the Hobbits, they got one up on us on that.”

While loosely based upon the existing 26 posture Bikram yoga system, in typical Busey fashion there will be subtle twists incorporated into the “Hot Hobbit Yoga” teaching methods.

Mr. Busey, in a clear effort to raise the ‘yoga stakes,’ will be swapping out the standard 105°F and 40 percent humidity heated room, for a much more “Middle Earth” conducive 106°F and 41 percent humidity studio.

With just this subtle change, Mr. Busey hopes students will be challenged to push forward and to connect with their ‘inner Hobbit.’ In this way, perhaps all of his students may learn to better approach the challenges and upsets life may occasionally toss their way.

“Middle Earth is a great place to visit, but you have to know how to get out.” said Mr. Busey.

And though, I do very much adore Mr. Gary Busey—I do hope perhaps someone may help him to ‘refine’ this, his newest venture.

Bikram Choudhury could not yet be reached for comment.
