The Sexual Warrior’s Guacamole

Guacamole is the go-to sexy “hors d’oeuvre” for both men and women. Let these fruity ‘testicles’ (as the Aztecs called them) work their magic before you work yours.

Sexy Players:

avocado
sexy spices
citrus
chia

What you need:

Five ripe avocados, peeled and seeded
One cup chopped red onion
Six cloves garlic, minced
One jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1/2 a bunch of cilantro leaves
juice of two limes
Three tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup chia gel (basic chia gel = two tbsp. chia seeds soaked in a cup of water for 30 minutes)
sea salt to taste

What to do:

Combine avocado, garlic, jalapeno, red onion and cilantro in a food processor. Add in olive oil, lime juice and sea salt while processor is running. Transfer the guacamole to your favorite serving bowl and add in the chia gel.

Serve with tortilla chips and raw veggies.

Bewitching Sumac Soup

Sumac, an obscure berry growing on bushes throughout the Mediterranean, mainly in southern Italy and throughout the Middle East, is a mysterious and exotic little thing, best eaten slowly and with sensuality.

Sexy Players:

whole grains
sexy spices

What you need:

One cup brown basmati rice
1/2 cup green lentils
One and a 1/2 tbsp. sumac
Two cups fresh parsley, minced
Two cups fresh cilantro, minced
One cup chopped onions
Three cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
sea salt and black pepper, to taste

What to do:

Place rice and lentils in a pot and cover with water. Bring them to a boil and let simmer for 40 minutes. Add parsley and cilantro to the pot. In a pan, saute, onions, garlic and turmeric in olive oil over low heat for 10 minutes. Add to soup. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot in two bowls with fresh bread.
