It’s Thanksgiving! Yay! Time for feasting on turkey…or, maybe not.
You may very well lose your appetite for turkey all together after watching this short clip. It’s traumatic, so fair warning. But this is the reality that your Thanksgiving main course probably lived through:
This is jarring to watch, horrible to know, but think how much worse it would be to live! It stuns me how cheep a company like this regards a life (even if it’s animal life). There’s no concern to minimize the birds’ suffering, no room for compassion in the name of the almighty dollar. It’s disgusting, and very unappetizing.
So maybe this holiday season, when it comes to turkey, let’s just say, “No, thank you.”
