“I’m sure you’ll have a chance to maybe just sit down here and there?”
“What, you mean like a break?”
“No. There are no breaks available.”
You’ve got to be kidding me, right? Not even a little bit.
I laughed and I cried because I know, because I have this job. And it’s not even the only job I do.

Not all recruits do it well, for sure, but a deep bow to those of you who do this job—maybe some days better than others, but you keep trying.
And for the rest…don’t wait till any particular day to tell the people you know who do this job that they’re doing it well. Most of us could do with a little encouragement!
