Boulder Pecha Kucha at Bioneers: Community Chit Chat.

Via on Nov 6, 2011

Here’s my video coverage from the Pecha Kucha session at Bioneers Boulder, 2011. Pecha Kucha means “chit chat” in Japanese. Each presenter had five minutes to let the audience members know what type of work they do in the community.

Cool stuff. I love this format. Here in Halifax the Pecha Kuchas have conformed to a strict guideline (very Japanese), which is that each presentation must include images- 20 slides, each of which must be shown for 20 seconds. There is no variation allowed. Also, the event is generally held in a bar, so the atmosphere is more boisterous- people drink and chat during, between, and after the presentations. Have fun.
