This Texan Yoga Superstar is all Heart: Anusara’s John Friend.

Check out this video snippet of my interview with John Friend, later published in our lil’ grassroots magazine, and one of the first conversations we’d filmed up to that point (note the not-yet-totally polished graphics)—at the Boulder Shambhala Center back in the day. At the end of the interview John and I walked around the Shambhala Center, founded by Trungpa Rinpoche, and John expressed his support for our little mag and offered to help in any way he could (something I’ve been foolish not to take full advantage of, as John rules the yoga universe with a gentle fist).
