This Bianchi and Raleigh rest on a bike rack made from recycled bike frames at Austin’s Coffee in Winter Park, FL. It’s a pretty novel idea. Simple and well thought out. Why throw away useful bike frames when they can be put to good use as bike racks.

About Michael Levin

Michael loves sharing what he's learned about organic lifestyles like living off the grid and bicycle commuting. He calls it "lifestyle entrepreneurship". He's into organic gardening, mindful living, and realizes that we only have this life and each other. His favorite quote is "The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both." (James A. 3. Hey, Kevin: My pleasure. After reading your blog, the $59 fare to Bogota via Miami looks even better! I definitely subscribed to your blog. FYI, I'll be in Bolivia next month. Matt: Every bike I had until college got stolen. None since! I agree that the bike stand could be hacked, but a deterrent is better than nothing. Is that a Nitto Moustache handlebar on that rack? Classy! Thanks for the comments…
