“The only obsession everyone wants: ‘love.’ People think that in falling in love they make themselves whole? The Platonic union of souls? I think otherwise. I think you’re whole before you begin. And the love fractures you. You’re whole, and then you’re cracked open. ”

I believe we all have cracks and we meet that one person who helps fill in those cracks with their unconditional love, tracing over the pain from past relationships, helping you to see to love yourself just as much as they love you, and to realize that you were already beautiful before you met that person who embraced you with their words, their heart and their love. Last but not least, their magnificent connection to your soul that allows you to embrace life like never before, free of pain, free of fear, and to savor every moment you have with them.

  12. The cracks are forever there. I let it be part of me. Love effected me and I am ok with that.
