Peace on (some more of) Earth.

Candidate Obama railed against the war in Iraq. President Obama gets hell for Guantanamo still being open (it is a shame, literally)—but doesn’t get the support needed to close it, or even hold trials in the US.

Well, the last troops stationed in Iraq are out. Home for Christmas. Or, resting in peace. War is a terrible thing—and its end is something to acknowledge, whatever our political persuasion, with gratitude.
