Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day because it fuels your body, metabolism and digestive system. I always recommend everyone start their day with a glass of warm water, lemon, and a dash of cayenne pepper. This potent mixture will cleanse your system and get your metabolism revved up! As for breakfast, I have two healthy and delicious options that never disappoint.
1. Skinny by Tara (SBT) Detox Juice
Stalk of Celery
1 bunch of Spinach
1 handful of wheatgrass
1/2-1 Organic Apple
1 tsp Spirulina
2. Quinoa Bowl
Cook 1/4 cup of Quinoa with almond milk. Top with raw honey, cinnamon, walnuts and berries.
Both options will provide you with a burst of nutrients including protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. A great tip is to prepare the quinoa ahead of time and all you have to do is add toppings. Whichever breakfast you choose is sure to keep you running until lunch time.
