“God said: I need somebody strong enough to pull sleds and find bombs; yet gentle enough to love babies and lead the blind. Somebody who will spend all day on a couch, with a resting head and supportive eyes, to lift the spirits of a broken heart.”

By far, the greatest (four-legged) love of my life is my dog—he is a heart magician, can make me laugh in an instant and knows when I need him to snuggle close.

This was sent to me by one of my closest friends (a fellow dog lover) and really, whether you believe in God or not, dogs are pretty awesome.

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”

~ Josh Billings

That was lovely. Every day, my dog makes me smile, makes me laugh, and fills our house with love. Even if we just came back from walking 3 miles of hills, if you ask him 'do you wanna go?', his excitement is contagious. Dogs rule.
