Footage like this should outrage everyone.
Unfortunately, throughout the U.S. and the rest of the world, the worst police officers abuse their authority with shocking regularity. Under the guise of protecting and serving their communities, some use their power to live out their authoritarian, fascist and dare I say, racist fantasies with little or no threat of consequences.
That type of behavior is unacceptable and it is our responsibility to make sure our community leaders don’t allow it, especially under the pretext of protecting us.
None of us are free until we are all equal.
