the world is heavy but your bones (just a cubic inch) can hold 19,000 lbs. ounce for ounce they are stronger than steel. atom for atom, you are more precious than diamond - and stars have died so that you may live

So you don’t have the luxury of ever (ever) saying that there’s nothing magical in those bones of yours.

You don’t get to say that you’re boring or plain or weak or pathetic.

You are the universe. You are star-stuff.

And there is nothing more miraculous than that.

About Sara Crolick

Sara Crolick is whiskey in a teacup. She loves elephants, vegetables, vintage typewriters, Audrey Hepburn and the written word, but not necessarily in that order. She raises two inspiring boys with her mister, who is a bona fide music-maker; this works out nicely, as she happens to also love music. You can connect with her via her site, Conversations with a Human Heart, her author page on Facebook and on Twitter, too.
