John Oliver proposes renaming Net Neutrality this:

Only Sting is more boring than this.

So boring. So funny. So important:

Call: FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler: 1-202-418-1000

A real person will answer the phone. They seem to have switched to voicemail. The first line should get the point across in that case, and it’s less wordy.

Say:

I’m calling to urge Chairman Wheeler to scrap the FCC’s plan to allow Internet service providers to charge for preferential treatment.

These rules would destroy Net Neutrality. I urge the chairman to throw them out and instead reclassify broadband as a telecommunications service. This is the only way to restore real Net Neutrality.

For more: “there are only 45,000 comments on the FCC’s proposed anti-Net Neutrality rules. Let’s fix that. (fcc.gov)

Cable companies are trying to create an unequal playing field for internet speeds, but they’re doing it so boringly that most news outlets aren’t covering it.
John Oliver explains the controversy and lets viewers know how they can voice their displeasure to the FCC.
