Hi Waylon,
I totally agree with this advice. Love the idea about doing more sitting and window gazing on the plane. Flight is amazing, and I sometimes do take it for granted. Interesting point about TripAdvisor. I´ve found the best thing is to ask friendly locals where to go to eat, shop, etc. (Though sometimes that requires being able to speak their language.) I´m glad you had a great trip. Here´s to traveling mindfully!
