Is the Earth ever not Herself?

We, your disciples
Might ask the same of you Dear Soul,

Sweet captivator of Truth and Beauty,
He who gives and transmits energy so freely,
Open to Everything That Was Born Inside
And That Came Alive Outside And Now Resides,

Who are we to deny the solemnness of this hour upon us,
As your followers, we acknowledge the truth, but will not dwell

For to dwell is Hell
And your wisdom teaches us
That Life is the opposite, impermanent
A gift, not to be wasted—

So today, as we trod barefoot over the Earth
Each on our own path, focusing intently on every single breath

Teacher, we imagine You in walking meditation right by our side,
Each of us offering a unique prayer,
Collectively, freely giving Healing Energy
Transmitted through the Earth

Hoping it finds you well, Dear Friend.

Joseph J Treubig is an aspiring teacher, avid nature-junkie, living life, whimsically jumbling words that unscramble signs and mix in the mundane, to me its all the same, as there is beauty everywhere, in everything. Ultimately, at the end of the day, just your average Joe, everyday 9 to 5 or so.
