I’m wild about green smoothie bowls!
They are such a great way to get goodness into your body to fuel you through the day. I love the fact that they are easy, quick, adaptable and not to mention delicious—it almost feels like dessert!
You can mix up any fruit that you have in season and top the bowl with your favourite dried fruit, seeds, nuts or super foods.
This is one of my favourite combinations:
Green smoothie bowl
3/4 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
1 small ripe mango
¼ of a ripe avocado
1 teaspoon of maca
1 teaspoon of green powder
A dash of cinnamon
3-4 leaves of fresh greens
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
Blend everything up until smooth and creamy, it should be quite thick—you can add more avocado or banana to thicken if needed.
Pour the smoothie directly into a bowl and top with:
Chopped mango and banana
1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon of your favorite raw granola (optional)
