Eyes. {Poem}

eye
I see eyes speak volumes,

they know the unseen.
the illusion is reality,
and reality becomes illusion.
different colours of lenses,
distinct souls seen everywhere.
some are wounded,
while others are healed.
the world changes the way,
the eyes discern things.
glass half empty,
or glass half full.
the hidden truth beneath layers,
the facade played by humans,
now open the windows inward.
to unlock the person inside,
that is the one you are.
see yourself first,
for you will only perceive,
outside what you are within.
have the courage,
to vision and embrace,
authentic self in wholeness.
