12 Ways to Keep your Vibration High.

We’ve all heard it before, the secret to happiness and manifestation is to keep your vibration high.

Whether it is Quantum Physics which explains that everything is made out of vibrating energy fields or the Law of Attraction which explains we need to match our vibrational level to what it is we want to manifest, it is clear that maintaining a high vibration is important to our health and well being.

While this may seem simple to some, to many keeping their vibration high is a constant struggle. There are many influences in our day-to-day lives such as environmental pollution, TV News, toxic people and more, which lower our vibration.

Here is a list of 12 things that I personally use to raise my vibration and stay happy and healthy:

1) Eat High Vibration Foods:

This is a key foundational part of any healthy lifestyle. What do I mean by “high vibration foods”? By that I mean living organic foods that are packed with natural vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutrients. When possible it is best to eat foods as close to their natural state as possible. This means whole foods with a minimum of preparation. It is also great to include raw foods. However, since raw foods don’t work well for everyone, when cooking do so at low temperatures and only for as long as is needed. This will help preserve the natural enzymes and nutrition in your foods.

2) Start Juicing:

Juicing is a great way to get the raw vital nutrition and energy from healthy organic fruits and vegetables. You may be skeptical of juicing as I once was, however, after trying it myself I instantly felt the difference. After drinking a glass of fresh organic green juice, my whole body tingles and I have energy for hours!

3) Exercise:

I spend a lot of time sitting down on the computer and with clients. Spending long hours writing and working on the computer is draining. One of the daily practices that help me stay energized is to take breaks and exercise. Even a little bit goes a long way. When I worked for big corporations, I would take a break every once in a while and go walk around the block. Even today I take breaks for yoga, martial arts or even a short walk around the block.

4) Meditation:

I started meditating in college as a way to reduce stress. Though at times I have moved away from it, I always come back to find it is one of the best ways to reduce stress, relax, raise your vibration and check in with your heart and subconscious mind. This is a powerhouse technique.

5) Get Out Into Nature:

Nothing feels better or more natural to us than the vibration of nature. Being out in nature helps remind us of who we really are and what is really important to us. The sunshine, fresh air, trees, flowers, animals and insects all have a vibration, which feels good. Regular doses of nature will go a long way in helping to raise your vibration.

6) Get Plenty of Sunshine:

Forget about the old outdated belief that the sun is bad for you! Nothing could be further from the truth. Like all things in life it is about moderation. Healthy exposure to sunlight is one of the only ways our bodies can receive Vitamin D. Scientific research shows that Vitamin D is critical to many of our bodies functions and is even effective at helping depression.

7) Get Grounded:

Literally ground yourself to the earth! There is a whole new science emerging about the benefits of grounding (also known as Earthing). The earth has a negative electrical potential on its surface. When you touch the surface, the earth’s electrons are conducted to your body. This brings your body to the same electrical potential as the earth. New research indicates that grounding can induce favorable physiological and electrophysiological changes that promote optimum health.

8) Play/Listen to Music:

Music is literally vibration. As a musician myself, I regularly use music to raise my vibration and enhance my mood. No matter how difficult the day has been, when I pick up an instrument and feel it vibrate through me, I instantly feel better! The trick here is to play/listen to uplifting music. Music with negative lyrics and energy can lower your vibration, and music with positive lyrics and energy can raise your vibration. Kirtan music is my secret weapon for raising my vibration! Kirtan is devotional music, which includes chanting the names of  deities. This works equally as well with listening to music.

9) Sing:

Just like number eight, singing can have a powerful effect on your vibration. Sing while your playing your instrument, listening to music, in the shower or driving your car. If you are singing positive lyrics, it’s impossible to not feel better!

10) Dance:

If dance is your thing, get up and dance! It’s even better if you can do it outside in nature with the sun shining and barefoot on the ground! Just like number three, dancing is great exercise! It will make you feel better in the moment, and also improve your long-term health.

11) Receive/Give Reiki:

Reiki is a form of energy healing which receives the healing energy of the universe. The best part is it doesn’t matter if you give or receive. As a Reiki practitioner every time I give a session, I am also receiving. Reiki energy flows through me on its way to my clients. Therefore I get to enjoy the benefits of this healing energy as well.

12) Use Crystals:

Use crystals with your meditation and/or healing work. All crystals have their own vibration. Some crystals such as quartz are uniquely suited to healing work as they have a very high vibration. Adding crystals to your work will definitely help you raise your vibration.

All of these are great tools/techniques to help you raise your vibration. Many of them can be done together and will enhance each other. Feel free to experiment and see which ones resonate with you the most! Vibe on!!
