The Vulnerability of our Desires: how to Stop Sabotaging our own Goals. {Video}

Let’s be real.

It’s easy to say things like, “Follow your dreams!” Or, “Go for it!” Or, “Anything is possible!”

It’s another thing entirely to actually allow ourselves to tap into the intense, electrifying energy that courses through our bodies when we’re truly in touch with what we want.

Our inability to get in touch with our true desires happens because it’s really freaking intense.

We’re not used to allowing the kind of aliveness that comes along with imagining exhilarating possibilities for our lives.

Sometimes, allowing ourselves to get in touch with our true desires is like turning up the voltage knob of our internal state by 12 notches.

So instead, we invent limiting beliefs that act like step-down converters, lessening the voltage of possibility and numbing us out to the potential of our lives.

In this video, I talk about how to create a healthy container in which we can work through that intense energy, so that it loses its grip on us, and we are free to feel, be, and do anything.

This is fundamental neurolinguistic programming. What we say creates what we believe and therefore what we get. Start every day by looking in the mirror and genuinely saying “I like myself”.
