What are the signs of a person who has Self-realized God?

A person is said to have Self-Realized when he realizes that the Self i.e. the real ‘I’ is the Supreme Soul (Parmatma / God), and not the body or the name that the world identifies himself to be.’ A Self-Realized being has attained this real knowledge of the Self.

The prominent signs of a person who has Self-Realized are:

• God (i.e. the Soul) has manifested in such a person. Therefore, he has constant awareness that, “The body is separate and I am a Pure Soul”.
• If the person has Self-realized, even if he is seen to be having a wife and child and is living a rich and palatial life, in fact, he is detached from all worldly passions and has no inclination towards sexual passions because he has the awareness that I am a Pure Soul. He understands that whatever he encounters in life are a result of his past karma, which he cannot escape from, and he has no choice but to undergo the effects of his karma. With this awareness, he equanimously allows his karma to finish.
• Despite his physical involvement seen in worldly affairs, he is very well aware that ‘I am not the ‘doer’ of anything.
• He does not dwell in the past or future, he remains only in the present.
• His constant effort is to maintain an inner separation between the body and the Soul and remain as the Self (the Soul) i.e. the Knower and the Seer of every object in this world.
• He sees the Self in all (Atmavat sarva bhuteshu) and experiences oneness with every living being. He is in sincere perseverance to attain the state of absolute purity in His vision and knowledge.

How can one see God, get His Darshan and talk to God?

The Pure Soul is our real Self and this Self itself is God.

Only when one attains the pure vision and knowledge of the Self, can one see God, get His Darshan and talk to God. But how do we attain this vision and this knowledge?

The general belief that prevails in a common man’s mind is that in order to attain such spiritual state of being, we have to quit our family and friends, leave our home, forsake all comforts, renounce the world, do strict fasts and severe penances, and only then can we progress on the path of salvation.

However, for people in today’s times, this is almost an impossible task. Moreover, we need a worthy Guru who can effectively guide us on the path. So what’s the way out then?

There is another path which makes this possible, and that is the Akram path (the exceptional path).

With the help of Akram Vignan, the stepless path to Self-Realization, we can realize our real Self (Self-Realization) in just 2 hours, provided there is presence of a Gnani, the Enlightened One, who can directly grace us with the real vision and knowledge of two fundamental things:

1. Who am I? and
2. Who is the Doer?

We are fortunate that currently such Gnani is present amidst us through whom we can attain Self-realization! Since Self-realization is attained with the grace of Gnani, the awareness of ‘I am Pure Soul’ begins. Thereafter, as one remains in the shelter of Gnani and follows his words, this awareness starts increasing day after day and gradually the prominent signs, as discussed above, surely begin to manifest.
