Masks Are Keeping Victims of Abuse Quieter Longer

There are people living in toxic environments and are unable to leave or use their voices due to lack of courage, finances, guilt, shame and/or lack of ideas. Victims of abuse living in toxic environments now have something physically over their mouths to prevent them from using their voices and are keeping quiet even longer than before.

Just because you don’t see your voice it doesn’t mean that it isn’t there.

7 ways to stand up for yourself with or without your mask

  • Share your real story on social media then teach your children to do the same
  • Memorize important phone numbers for people you can trust, then teach our children to do the same
  • When someone helpful is nearby scream as if your life depended on it, because it does, then teach your children to do the same
  • Learn about self love then teach your children to do the same
  • Journal or thumb type on your phone and teach your children to do the same
  • Learn how to move forward mentally so you’ll be strong enough to move forward physically from toxicity then teach your children to do the same
  • Stand up for yourself even if you stand alone and even if your voice shakes then teach your children to do the same

Post on social media and teach your children to do the same

The untold stories of the world are the stories that need to be heard. Whether your friends online are liking or double tapping your posts, they are watching. There are people out there looking out for you whether you realize it or not. Share the real story on your timeline and get the ball rolling to create awareness in your community. This teaches others to have courage to stand up too, then teach your children to do the same.

Memorize important phone numbers for people you can trust then teach your children to do the same

What telephone number other than 911 can you remember? Not many I’m sure just like the rest of us due to our smart phones. Memorize telephone numbers for people you can trust. Let them know you have them as your emergency contact. So when you need them, they’ll be there and aware.

When someone helpful is nearby scream as if your life depended on it, because your voice matters and teach your children to do the same

Abusers are expecting you to be quiet. Make a riot!

Learn about self love then teach your children to do the same

If you are living in a toxic environment the toxicity is not helping your health, it is hindering it. The love that you’d like to receive isn’t being given. Learn to love you and appreciate you the way you need to be loved. When you do, your children will learn how to love themselves too.

Journal,  type or thumb type on your phone

By taking the time to pause and reflect on where you are currently and where you don’t want to be and where you would like to move forward to will be best understood if you had all your thoughts out of your brain and in front of you to cypher through to get to know the real you before you started being someone else, for someone else. Journal, type or thumb type to get you right. You can thumb type on an app on your smart phone for free called notes. Then teach your children to do the same.

Stand up for yourself even if you stand alone and teach your children to do the same.

Modern day challenges, need modern day solutions.

The mask will not keep victims of abuse quiet!
