Why you need to Get Rid of your Boring, Plain & Cheap Underwear—Right Now.

Do you suffer from RSI?

If your first thought was the repetitive strain injury in your wrists from working at home during COVID-19 at your kitchen table or desk that isn’t ergonomic, well,  I can help you with that, but that’s not what this is about.

I’m talking about repetitive self-sabotage injury.

Yes, those sneaky pesky stories that start swirling in our heads when we’re bumping against things or circumstances that don’t feel achievable. We’ve all been there; those stories keep us stuck.

And if you’re reading this and thinking to yourself, “I don’t do this…” then just think about money for a second, and how you make choices on how much you spend on yourself.

Go take a look at your underwear drawer. Seriously. Take a look at the underwear that you put on each and every day.

What do they say about you?

Does your underwear represent who you believe you are?

And if you’re asking, “What the heck does this have to do with self-sabotage?” Then, there are three questions I have for you:

>> Are you listening to the same stories that keep you stuck in the same patterns?

>> Is who you think you are really who you believe you are?

>> Are you willing to step up and change the story today, to begin living as you?

Now that you’re considering those questions, let’s go back to underwear. I went through mine and asked myself how I felt when I wore my go-to underwear. Well, they’re comfy sure, but the style is a bit plain and the colours aren’t really me—wearing them doesn’t really make me feel different or special in any way.

In fact, they sort of remind me that I got them on sale in the department store bin.

Well, I don’t believe that I am a “Department Store Sale Bin” type of person. I believe I am much more than that. So, why was I not spending money on myself on something relatively inexpensive (in the grand scheme of things) that would make me feel how I believe?

Because I always told myself that underwear wasn’t important, no one really sees it; so I should buy the cheap, bargain-bin variety.

I was suffering from RSI, a self-limiting belief that I was not worthy of wearing nice underwear. Well, that’s going to change now, isn’t it?

This is just a small example of how we limit ourselves and settle for less. Whether it’s underwear, money, relationships, houses, or anything else.

Who do you believe you are?

How are you making choices to stretch beyond the stories of your RSI?

Start noticing your self-limiting beliefs and RSI’s when you’re going through the day. Is there a place where you can start to stretch beyond that story and step into who you believe you are?

When we begin to take these small steps with conscious choices, we start feeling more aligned with our true selves, which then shifts the energetic frequency of what we are asking for and what we receive.

Think about it, if I keep wearing cheap, boring, plain underwear, then cheap, boring, and plain will keep showing up in my life.

Where can you start stretching beyond your story?

Go buy some nice underwear, then see how this shifts your beliefs.
