Grab Life with All your Might. {Poem}

Be not afraid

Of yourself.

Come meet me, in you. Come meet you, through me.

Please run at life. Grab it like the fleeting assemblage of moments that it is.

Be not afraid of dying. Be afraid of not having lived.

Of not having frolicked wholeheartedly in fields of sunshine, in moments of blissful unaware love, entangled with a stranger, locking eyes with a seductress of life, make love to your life through your veins.

Be not afraid of love. Be afraid of never dropping into it. Of never releasing yourself into the pure abandonment of another’s heart.

Into the softness and fear and thrill that is love.

Into the velvet golden syrup bliss of being loved.

Be not afraid of passion. Be afraid of not feeling. Feel too much, too often.

Be overwhelmed by the sheerness of life. The volume of it that you consume. To the point of inflation. Filled on the air of living. Of sucking in every moment. Sucking out every last drop of you.

Of us.

Be not afraid of falling into someone. Into like. Into love. Into anger or resentment. Be afraid of never feeling.

Be not afraid of being wholeheartedly, passionately, fully you. Be afraid of never meeting you.

Release yourself from yourself and into you in a self in this world. It’s a beautiful place.

And I’m excited to meet me, in you, and you, in me.
