4 Gut-Wrenching Quotes to help us Unleash the Joker within Us.

The movie “Joker” takes us on the disturbing journey of a mentally unstable man who was crying for help but society failed to even notice him.

Through his struggle to live his life, Joker then embarks on the evolution to be a psychopath after having an epiphany that he is no longer invisible, and is powerful through killing others.

The movie “Joker” brilliantly portrays an evolution journey when a soul is challenged to grow through daily life difficulties. And there is a Joker within everyone one of us who is yet to be unleashed in either a healthy or unhealthy way. The choice is in our hands; we have the power to decide the new character that we are becoming and the life experience that we wish to live.

Here are four gut-wrenching lines from the “Joker” that still inspire us to grow and evolve spiritually:

1. “I used to think my life was a tragedy, but now, I realize it’s a comedy.”

Imagine life as a big playground, and you are a little child who is ready to explore and experience it. Life is meant to be fun, and we should explore it with full curiosity each morning to see what the Universe has yet to unfold. I used to take my life rather seriously by trying to control and “strategically” create the outcome of my future through the decisions I took.

I used to believe that life was a sum of big goals that I strived to accomplish, so I kept pushing myself to achieve more and grow to be a greater version of myself. And I eventually ended up with a burnout and in a miserable and frustrated state on a daily basis. I then realized that I failed badly. I failed to experience the joy of life.

Today, I choose to approach life as if it’s a store catalog that consists of a vast range of experiences. Since I am the creator of my own life story, I have the power to choose what I wish to experience. I also deleted the word “should” and replaced it with “choose to.” I live my life consciously from my soul’s standpoint instead of the human’s stance.

2. “I’ll tell you what you get! You get what you f*ckin’ deserve!”

Deserving is a big factor in what you can and can’t have in life. Have you ever wondered why the majority of nearly eight billion people who live on this planet are suffering? Why can’t we have it all in life? Isn’t abundance our birthright?

I used to ponder for hours, trying to get the answer to the secret to have it all, as I am one of those who have the deepest desire to have it all in life. I desire to have health, wealth, and happiness. And most importantly, I want to experience life in accordance with my wishes.

Through my own experience and clients, I found out that the secret to having it all is believing that you deserve it already. This requires courage and vulnerability.

It takes courage and vulnerability beyond ego to love someone, to pursue your passion in life, or to live a life beyond your wildest dreams. And we are our biggest enemy when it comes to manifesting the best life experience that the Universe has to offer.

Remember, when you talk yourself out of pursuing the calling to take the next level of life mastery—that’s a deserving issue.

3. “For my whole life, I didn’t know if I even really existed. But I do, and people are starting to notice.”

Everyone has the most fundamental need to be accepted, loved, and seen without judgment. The hardest punishment we can give to others is to give the silent treatment. Consider the mental impact of putting someone in solitary. It breaks their soul and spirit to live their life.

Unfortunately, we are educated by a society that promotes punishment to discipline instead of raising self-awareness of our patterns of behavior. Punishment creates unresolved trauma and an unhealed inner child who, in turn, promotes hate, anger, hurt, and resentment. The outcome is that people who are hurt tend to hurt others in order to seek love and acceptance. Isn’t that an irony?

However, the solution is in our hands. We can stop this cycle by giving more love than hate to others. When we feel hurt by others, instead of taking revenge, we can offer forgiveness and acceptance.

Eventually, what goes around comes around. So, give out more love to receive love. It’s a Universal Law.

4. “I hope my death makes more cents than my life.”

Are you aware of how powerful your thoughts and emotions are? In fact, you create all your life experiences through your thoughts and emotions. Yet, consider this: how often do you tell yourself about what you don’t want to experience instead of what you want? Or when you stand in front of the mirror, how often do you judge yourself instead of praising yourself?

I believe that we don’t value enough of what we have in life, and we often whisk our life away. For example, consider statements like “I wish it were Friday” or “I can’t wait for the weekend” at the beginning of the week. This unintentionally expresses our desire to whisk our life away instead of enjoying and living the present moment.

If you don’t like your current life, why don’t you create a new one? You have the power to create the life experience that you wish to have. It is your life story, and you are the writer, so you can decide how the story will end.

Cultivating gratitude and practicing mindfulness on a daily basis will help you transform your life around.

But most importantly, being conscious and intentional in your thoughts, emotions, and words are the most powerful ways to unleash the Joker within us in a positive way.
